Hiroshima Kart (Hiroshima Grand Prix) is a free kart racing game that runs in your browser and takes you through the real streets of Hiroshima, Japan. Buildings, roads and terrain come from the 3D city model published by Project PLATEAU, Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). No install or sign-up — it plays on PCs and on phones (iPhone and Android).
7.31 km a lap, two laps a race. You start at Hiroshima Station and run through Kanayama-cho, Hatchobori and Kamiya-cho to the A-Bomb Dome, loop past Tokaichi and Tera-machi, go by the EDION Peace Wing Hiroshima football stadium, and return through Hakushima and Futaba-no-sato to the north side of the station. Hiroden streetcars run down the middle of the road, and the JR Sanyo Line and Sanyo Shinkansen run on their real tracks. Along the way you pass the A-Bomb Dome, Hiroshima Castle and the trees of Peace Memorial Park.
SOLO PLAY races you against AI karts. ONLINE PLAY is online multiplayer for up to 8 players in the same race, with AI filling any empty seats. Use items and drift mini-turbos to move up the order.
